Samsung have announced two new handsets which should hopefully be released in the spring. The mobile phones are part of the La Fleur collection and are aimed at the female market.

It has to be said that both phones do substitute functions for looks, but if you prefer looks to a high spec then these phones are certainly for you.

The first of the two phones is the L310 flip phone, it boasts a 2 mega pixel camera, expandable microSD memory (internal memory of 20MB), Bluetooth, MP3 player, a standard 3. 5mm headphone connection allowing you to use standard headphones to listen to your music. It also comes equipped with a built in calorie counter and shopping list function.

I expect the L310 to sell mainly due to its looks and its not surprising why, it comes with a floral pattern that flows around the corner of the phone, both on the back of the phone and on the inside of the phone framing the main show screen. It has a unique S shaped hinge as well as a hidden external indicator that tells you when you have received a message. The camera lens is even surrounded by diamantes giving the handset extra bling! It comes complete with its own leather case to keep it looking shiny and groundbreaking new for as long as possible!

If the L310 doesn’t take your fancy then maybe the L320 will. It’s the more rounder of the two mobile phones, and at first glance looks none too similar to the Motorola PEBL. The L320 has a decorative pattern printed on the exterior of the phone. The front of the mobile phone has a discreet external show to indicate when you receive a text message or receive a phone call etc.

The L320 is once again a flip phone which has supposedly been designed like a seashell! It comes equip with a 2 mega pixel camera, micro SD expandable memory (internal memory 17MB), FM radio, MP3 player, and a standard 3. 5mm headphone socket.

The L310 will be available in a black and gold colour scheme, and the L320 will be available in a black and purple colour scheme.
