]]> 2 Tritton AX 51 Pro 5.1 Headset for PCs Revised ReviewHopefully this will help in your choice to buy a set of surround headphones. The Tritton’s are a small expensive- this set is $90. The TRITTON AXPro Right 5.1 are $180 and includes an external Dolby module. If you all ready have a Dolby 5.1 sound card, then you don’t need the module. The headset is identical to the more expensive version and can really be plugged into the AXPro’s module as a second set.

The problem with the headset is the surround is terrible. The front and read speakers are so close, your ears can’t tell the difference. You may as be wearing stereo headphones.

To help you visualize this problem, it is like taking your surround speakers, and placing the front and rear channels right next to each other instead of spacing them in front and behind you.
