Let’s take a look at the cons
The cord that comes with these it is long on the right ear and shorter on the left. It is not too terrible but some people don’t like that shape.

You might have a small bit of distress getting the 3 different sizes of silicone ear pieces to fit. You can get a slightly larger size and it should work fine.

With MP3 players and other portable music devices becoming more and more common, the companies making earphones have also been busy at work making better and better models to enable people to delight in their music even more.
If you have bought a brand-new iPod or other MP3 player, the earphones that are included are often cheaply made models. This is to be expected with any free earphones; and the cheaper models usually don’t produce particularly excellent sound quality.
If you’ve already invested quite a lot of money on the MP3 player, it’s a excellent thought to spend a small bit more purchasing quality earphones to listen to your music through. The Sennheiser CX300-B Earbuds produce some of the best quality audio of any earphones in their price range.
For the audiophiles among you, the main features boasted are:
They produce accurate tone throughout a wide frequency range.
They have a 112 dB sound pressure level, which means it’s simple to block out noise in the background and really delight in the music you are listening to.
Their bud shape means that they fit directly into the ear canal, again limiting background noise. A minor point about this is that when using them outside, it’s vital to take notice of your environment and not get hit by a car that you didn’t hear coming!
They have a standard 3.5 mm plug, which means they are compatible with the vast majority of audio devices.
As the Sennheiser CX300 B Earbuds offer some of the greatest audio quality in their price range, when using them to play MP3s, it’s vital to give at least a small consideration to the “bitrate” of the file you are playing.
MP3 files contain compressed audio and the lower the bit rate is, the more data is lost (and hence the lower quality the audio is). To really get the most out of these earphones, it is a excellent thought to encode your MP3 files at least at 256 Kbps.
Really, for the price, the Sennheiser CX300 B Earbuds are some of the best in the range and by coupling them with excellent quality MP3 player you will experience music on the go in a way that you have never been able to before.

Noise Cancelling Headphones have become extremely well loved with travelers and those that really just want some peace and silent when listening to music. Well Sennheiser has made an brilliant pair of headphones that are perfect for this type of use.
The Sennhieiser PXC 250 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones are top of the line. They provide clear and crisp sound. Although they are a small more expensive than some other headphones you know you are getting what you pay for. When doing research for a nice pair of noise cancelling headphones these came right to my attention because of their five star reviews. I soon found out why they are so well loved.
The headphones are extremely comfortable, light weight, and are most effective in blocking out noise. My main point for buying these headphones was so I could listen to my music and hear the instruments clearer. I got what I was looking for and much more.
First I despise small headphones, these completely covered my ears. I also noticed there was no buzzing or static when listening to any type of music. The buzzing sound can be a huge complaint among noise cancelling headphones. I was also amazed at the sound quality. My music tastes vary from hard rock, jazz, and classical. Each type of music sounded surprisingly fantastic. I have never been able to hear the instruments so clear before.
Sennheiser is really one of the best manufacturers in making headphones that block out noise. Although you can’t completely block out the noise on a subway or bus it helps tremendously is reducing it. So now I can listen to my music and not blow my ears out from having to turn the volume up so high. I was really able to tell the noise reduction feature when using the headphones on a airplane flight. It completely drowned out the noise of the engines and which allowed me to get a few hours of rest.
In conclusion Sennheiser is a very reputable brand. You know if it is excellent enough for DJs then it is the right choice for you. Although they are priced a small high you will be paying for a fantastic deal of high performing features in a pair of headphones.

When activated, NoiseGard active noise reduction drops steady-state low-frequency noise (from about 500 Hz and below) by 15 dB–which the human ear perceives as more than halving the noise–thus enhancing the clarity of your music. The noise reduction circuit requires 2 AAA batteries (not included), but the headphones work fine without the circuit engaged. Sennheiser’s fold and flip design lets you turn the ear pieces 90 degrees and fold the headphones closed. Their ported design lets them go more air for greater bass response.
What’s in the Box:
6-foot Kevlar-reinforced cord,.25-inch stereo adapter, airline adapter, belt pouch. Product Description: With all the latest adbances in digital muisc and sound fidelity, should you really be using the headphones that came with your portable MP3 or CD player? There is a way that you can get the best sound possible -The Sennheiser Way. The Sennheiser PXC 250 is a closed, dynamic, supra-aural mini stereo headphone with NoiseGard active noise compensation (requires 2 AAA batteries). Due to their active and passive attenuation of ambient noise, they let you delight in music even in noisy environments. The headphones are foldable and come with a convenient belt pouch, making them an ideal travel companion.
Product Key Features:
Active noise canceling for cutting out up to 25 dB of ambient noise
Fold-and-flip design allows for compact storage
Padded, closed earcups and adjustable headband
6-foot, Kevlar-reinforced cord
Frequency response of 10 Hz – 21 kHz
The Basics:
The Sennheiser PXC 250 Active Noise Canceling Headphones are constructed of solid metal/plastic components, comfortable vinyl padding, folds up into a somewhat small and flat profile, and fits fantastic in the high quality padded case that comes with the headphones. The noise canceling circuitry is contained in a separate, it is not bulky at all to handle especially with the belt clip. The power switch is pushed up/down and you won’t have to worry about accidentally pressing the switch.
It is powered by 2 AAA batteries (documentation doesn’t state how long the power would last with continuous use) and will conveniently continue to function even when the batteries drain (albeit without the noise cancelation). These headphones are not silver colores as stated and shown in the product title and picture, they are black and metal gray. The standard two year warranty is certainly an advantage over other headphone manufacturer offerings.
Audio Quality:
With the noise canceling curcuitry turned off the audio sounds shallow and tiny because the padding causes the headphones to sit a small far from the eardrums. If you push in the headphones against your ears you will notice that the audio quality and bass response improves. When the circuitry is turned on the tinnyness disappars, but the audio seems over-boosted. Check out this site for the best reviews on Sennheiser PXC 250 Active Noise Canceling Headphones .
